The latest issue of The AgriNutrition Edge Report is now available and features my new blog “Through My Father’s Eyes – Beyond a City’s Doorstep.” When I travel, I like to go beyond the usual tourist spots and see the landscape and countries through “my father’s eyes” – always looking for the agricultural aspects of a new place and trying to understand the impact of food and farming (or lack thereof) so I could report back to my dad, who did very little traveling due to the demands of running a family farm but was always interested in my adventures. I recently traveled to Vienna and Budapest with the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics and share reflections in this issue.
