Regardless of our childhood and how long ago it was, we have memories that bring smiles to our faces, tears to our eyes or the realization of what we thought was bad, may actually have been good. June brings those mixed emotions for me and some of my “farm kid” colleagues as we celebrate National Dairy Month and reflect on the core lessons learned of teamwork, determination, hard work and the entrepreneurial culture.

What we learned remains the same for today’s dairy farmers as highlighted in headlines and photos over the past few month. Farming has never been for the “faint of heart” and I would contend dairy farming exemplifies that statement to the max. Read more about how dairy farmers are innovating and staying true to the finished product, as it’s still about the milk, in the latest issue of The AgriNutrition Edge Report.

Also learn more about the various methods of milk pasteurization and the opportunity to join me and several of my colleagues for a three-part master class about successfully making the pivot to working and communicating in a virtual environment.
