Vegetables at a farmers' marketVisions of bright red tomatoes, sweet corn in the husk and zucchini of all shapes and sizes “dance in our heads” and on our plates as the farmers’ market season is in full swing across most of our country. In fact, the first week of August was designated National Farmers’ Market Week. I am a big fan of farmers’ markets and never miss an opportunity to visit one wherever I am! Read more about the growth in these markets and farmers who are using them to grow their businesses in the latest issue of The AgriNutrition Edge Report. This issue also looks ahead to September and the challenge to increase our consumption of fruits and vegetables and take the #haveaplantpledge during National Fruits & Veggies Month.
