September is National Food Safety Education Month, but for the thousands of food supply workers every day and every month is about food safety. This issue of The AgriNutrition Edge Report looks at the reality of foodborne illnesses, new efforts to modernize safety practices across the food system, and how we as consumers can do our part. Even though our early COVID-19 precautions may have lessened over the past few months, the focus on food safety throughout the food supply chain remains on full alert. This issue also celebrates National Family Meals Month and highlights FMI’s new research around the importance of family meals to keep us connected during the pandemic and beyond.
