Stories of bottled water, hand wipes and disinfectant disappearing from store shelves and the resurgence of canned good purchases are in the headlines as concerns of a pandemic spread from one continent to another, and now is in our “back yard.” With the recent outbreak of the COVID-19 coronavirus in the U.S., a sense of urgency has grabbed the attention of the public … and rightfully so. But perhaps we need to slow down a minute and recognize how this virus is actually transmitted. Above all, stay calm and wash your hands!
