What a year we have experienced! From the questioning of long-held scientific principles to the chatter of what a “healthy America” really is, I found myself mired in the daily, and often hourly, headlines. Those headlines often created angst and left me questioning how to cut through the clutter. Perhaps, it’s the reason for my limited newsletter production this year. My sincere gratitude to colleagues across the food and agriculture platform who have been stalwart in addressing the issues at hand.
As we bring closure to 2025, I am reminded of the power of conversation through books read (and to be read) and words of wisdom from change agents. Let us start to rise above the chatter … changing it to conversations that seek understanding, address challenging issues from farm to plate, and ultimately find solutions for all, not just a few.
