The latest issue of The AgriNutrition Edge Report is live. Check out my new blog, Water: The “Juice of Life…and a Peach.” Summer means peaches everywhere…but Coloradans say the best are from the Palisade area. To produce these gems, though, growers must deal with unique water access and use issues. I recently had the opportunity to visit a Palisade orchard and write about the irrigation systems being used at PeachFork Orchards. This issue also includes a follow-up on plant-based protein with my reflections from the Illinois Soybean Association’s Insights Summit where I participated on a panel discussing alternative proteins.
